The base of this setting is flat to hold flat back stones and it measures 16mm at the outside rim (not including the prongs which measure 6mm.) You will receive six settings with prongs and open backs for stones which measure as small as 16mm or as large as 22mm since the prongs are long enough to bend them where you need to.
