Open Back Turtle Settings 18mm Oxidized Silver (6)

The base of this setting is flat to hold flat back stones and it measures 16mm at the outside rim (not including the prongs which measure 6mm.) You will receive six settings with prongs and open backs for stones which measure as small as 16mm or as large as 22mm since the prongs are long enough to bend them where you need to. These settings are oxidized sterling silver plated brass. The front and the back are shown. Made in the USA. An example of how you can add this style of setting to the openwork of a filigree or a stamping to create a unique setting is shown in the second photo provided by Willie Zuniga.
