Whether it’s your favorite street style influencer or the designer runway, one trend is showing up everywhere this year – 2026 is the year of the brooch.
Worn in fresh, creative ways beyond the classic blazer lapel, brooches are adding personality and charm back into everyday style. After a few years of minimalism, it’s no surprise we’re seeing a return to expressive, layered accessories.
After spending just a few minutes browsing Pinterest, I found some wonderful examples of women wearing brooches in unique and inspiring ways.
Creating Your Own Brooch Designs

Drawing on that inspiration, I created a couple of brooches to pair with my spring looks using Vintage Jewelry Supplies components.

Use a medium-viscosity adhesive such as Gorilla Craft Glue or E6000

Attach the pin back toward the top third of the design
→ This helps prevent the brooch from tilting forward when worn
